SKIN CARE THE 2 MUST-DO!HYDRATION + POLISHHYDRATING FACE MASKS1Why It WorksWinter air depletes moisture fast. Skin can feel tight, dull, and tired.Hydrating masks restore softness, plumpness, and that healthy glow. How To Do ItCream masks: rich and nourishing.Gel masks: lightweight and hydrating.Overnight masks for deep repair.Sheet masks for a quick glow boost.Think ingredients like hyaluronic acid, ceramides, glycerin, and soothingbotanicals.✓ Use twice a week.✓ Follow with your favourite moisturiser to lock it in.Skin should feel soft, calm, and replenished.EXFOLIATION FOR DRY SKIN2Why It Works:In winter, skin turnover slows. WRITTEN BY TAMARA.Mother of two young girls, wife to Tim, good friend tomany, and co-owner of Sweet Philosophy ToowoombaCakes alongside Tim, our Head Cake Baker.Life is certainly busy and a constant juggle betweenwork, kids, hubby, and everyday life. I am alwaysreflecting on where I can do better, but at the end ofthe day, I believe it's about giving it your all andhaving the right people around you.Running a business is definitely the hardest aspect ofit all, but also the most rewarding. If someone hadsaid 10 years ago that we would own a cake business,we would have laughed. The idea was originally mine, but I can't remember the conversation, ha-ha!Tim was diagnosed with a rare form of arthritis, meaning he will eventually no longer be able to workas a chef in a commercial setting. When he was giventhe opportunity to bake a wedding cake for a friend,I apparently said, "You should give this a go!"It started as Tasty Treats by Tim. While Tim developedhis skills in custom cakes, I learnt cupcake decorating, finishing cakes, managing quotes, and handlingorders. Today, we run the business together, each withour own roles while supporting one another. I mayappear strong and independent, but that's because Ihave a strong husband beside me. We are eachother's biggest supporters and motivation. Why We Love Sweet Philosophy:We obviously love food and cake plays such animportant role in life's celebrations. I love the idea ofpeople remembering a cake flavour from a wedding, birthday or special occasion because it brings back atreasured memory. As a mum, seeing children's reactions to their birthdaycakes is truly the best feeling. My Favourite Things to See and Do:Eat, drink, and be around great company. What's Happening in the Future:We are about to build our dream home, completewith beautiful gardens, an orchard, chickens and amonster kitchen perfect for hosting family and friends.Exciting things are ahead for Sweet Philosophy.Click Here to follow Tamara and Tim's Sweet Philosophy on Instagramor to eat cake. THE ART OF FRIENDSHIPLong Distance, Still CloseDistance changes friendship, but it doesn’t have to weaken it. It asks forintention. It asks for effort. And it invites a deeper kind of connection. When you’re no longer in each other’s everyday, the small moments beginto matter more. A voice note. A message. A shared thought.t's not about how often you speak. It's about how you remain present ineach other's lives. Real friendship adapts. It stretches. It holds, even whenlife moves in different directions.Connection isn't built on proximity. It's built on care. And when you chooseto stay connected, even in simple ways, that bond remains strong.Because closeness isn’t measured in distance. It’s felt in consistency,in effort, in choosing each other again.Final Thought:Distance doesn't define a friendship. The effort to stay connected does.FRIENDSHIP CHECKLISTSend a voice note instead of a text.Share something that reminded you of her.Lock in a date to reconnect, a phone call, FaceTime, even a road trip or flight.

THE FINAL TOUCHFrom ElizabethWinter has arrived quietly. Cooler air, slower days, softer light. And wesoftened with it.This season, we honoured our energy. Not pushing, not proving, just choosingwhat feels right.Structure when we needed it. Softness when we needed that too.We layered with intention. Statement coats, longline skirts, collars peekingthrough knits.Navy grounded us. Texture held us. Boots carried us with quiet confidence. We slowed down on purpose.Candles lit our spaces.Coffee became a moment.A board game turned into connection.A book sat beside the bed, waiting. We moved differently too.Not louder. Not harder. But deeper.Sauna, stretch, breathe, restore. This season wasn’t about doing more.It was about feeling more.Mostly… we came back to ourselves.Steady. Clear. Grounded. And in that, we found our power.#youarebeautiful
